Okay so I picked up the first episode of this show and skipped it after that weird part where he’s a kid lusting after his mom and stuff. I can see this episode is awarded like crazy here and there’s a few new threads popping up about this episode. Is it worth watching?

「無職転生」の一話目を観たとき、子供がその母親や他の女性にムラムラしている場面をスキップしたよ。今回のエピソードでも何か変な描写がないかどうか注意しながら観てたんだけど、新たにスキップするべき部分が出てきちゃったね。「無職転生」って観る価値あるのかな？

I think it’s good, animation is beautiful, story is interesting and I find it quite mature in the way it tackles some issues. However, it doesn’t tone down on the inappropriate **** interactions so if that bothered you I wouldnt keep watching.

僕は観る価値あると思うよ。アニメーションはとても美しいし、ストーリーも面白いし。それに「無職転生」は、リアルな成長を描こうとしているし。 まぁ、大人的描写がなくなるというのはこれからもないだろうし、もしそういうのが嫌なら観続けるのはおすすめはしないかな。

Already one of my favorite new shows. How they dropped this bomb at the beginning. Hilarious and really bringing up more mature topics, gosh I needed such an isekai show in my life. Cannot wait to see how it continues. Just one word on Paul: hahaha this guy

もう既に僕のお気に入りアニメの一つになっているよ。冒頭から衝撃的な展開を入れ込んでくれたしね。とても面白かったし、大人なトピックを描いてくれてたよね。僕の人生には異世界アニメがもっと必要だよ。これからどんな展開になるのか待てないね。 最後にパウロに一言。「ははは、この野郎」

Everyone talking about Paul, while i’m still here trying to get over the fact that the 40 y/o dude is pretty much lusting after and grooming the 7 y/o Sylphy. Did that really go over everyone’s head ? This show has really great atmosphere, but I simply can’t help but feel uncomfortable the whole time i’m watching it because this guy is taking advantage of being a “kid” in the wrong ways.

みんなパウロのことばかり言っているけど、俺が思うのは精神年齢40歳のやつが7歳の女の子に発情して自慰をしているのはどうなんだってことだよ。彼が年齢的にはもう40歳ってことみんな覚えてる？アニメ自体はとっても良い雰囲気を持っているんだけど、見てられない部分もあるんだよね。それはルーデウスが子どもというアドバンテージを悪用している部分だよ。

Mushoku Tensei has been by #1 LN for many many years, and I could not be happier with the way they’re treating the characters and exploring the story, God I can’t wait for what is to come!

無職転生は何年間もナンバーワンのラノベだし、アニメでは色んなキャラや話をどんどん展開させていて本当に楽しいよ。今後どうなるのか早く観たくて待ちきれないよ！

I’m trying really hard to like the show, but they way they keep AGGRESSIVELY **** children squicks me out. People can say blah blah cultural differences all day, but it still squicks me out and strikes me as really unnecessary.

「無職転生」のことを好きになろうとは思っているんだけど、制作はアグレッシブにオトナ表現を描いてくるから生理的にうけつけないんだよね。文化的な違いとかだからっていう人もいるけど、それでも僕にとっては不必要な描写だと感じちゃうし生理的に無理なんだよね。

They do a good job of making me like Paul in one scene and really ****ing hating him in another. I guess they are not mutually exclusive; he can be wise and insightful while also being the worst husband and have serious character flaws.

パウロを好きになるようなシーンと本当ムカついてくるようなシーン両方を描いてくれたのはグッジョブだよ。 そういった両方の面は誰もが心の中に併せ持っているもんだと思うんだよね。彼は賢いし洞察力もあるんだと思うけど、欠陥がある最悪な夫でもあるんだよね。

he adaptation of the anime just is worse overall since they change key scenes and leave out details. The animations are great, but for the story telling they should have kept closer to the manga/novel source.

アニメ化によって詳細を割愛しているし、パウロの悪い部分が際立ってしまっているよね。今回のアニメ化は素晴らしいと思うよ。でも、物語の観点から言うと、もっと原作や漫画に近づけるべきだと思うんだよね。

Why is everyone just focusing on Paul? Paul is definitely scum but lets not act like what Lilia did isn’t bad. She’s staying in their house and seduced her friend’s husband. They both are scum Paul is definitely worse tho

どうしてみんなパウロにだけ注目しているの？パウロは明らかに悪いけど、リーリャに無理やりしたわけではないしパウロだけが悪いというわけではないよね。彼女は他人の家で住み込みで働いているんだし友達の旦那を誘惑したんだよ。どちらも悪いと言えば悪いよ。 まぁ、パウロの方が悪いとは思うんだけどね。

I really love how realistic human interactions & relationships are in this anime. People in this anime are horny, they have needs and they are flawed just like normal people. I want more this kinds of interaction in anime. I’m so bored about this typical trope where anime people freak out when they see bare chest.

僕は「無職転生」のリアリスティックな人間関係を描いている部分が本当に好きだな。人間のオトナ欲求がしっかりと描かれてるし、現実の人間のように時には傷ついたりもするんだよね。もっとこういった人間関係を描くべきだと思うし、そういったアニメを観たいんだよね。裸を見て興奮するキャラがいるっていうお決まりの展開についてはもううんざりなんだけどね。

Paul is what called a better than average father back in mediaeval time

パウロは悪く言われているけど中世の平均的な父親からすると良い部類に入るんじゃないかな。

The way Kyon’s voice actor goes senor~~ is just the funniest **** to me, really reminds me of “”saraba da, haruhi~~~”” from the old anime

キョンの声で話している部分がとても面白いんだよね、僕にとって。この声を聞くと昔「さらばだ、ハルヒ～～」と言ってたのを思いだすんだよね。
