ついにやってきました『進撃の巨人』のファイナルシーズンPart2、後半戦。全世界待望の最終章がついにテレビ放送が開始されました。

日本だけでなく世界中に熱烈なファンを生み出し、リアクターと呼ばれるYouTubeのリアクション動画がバズりまくる社会現象を生んでいるほど。

Eren is clever and yet didn’t use a crossbow, like Lara Tybur did as the warhammer titan, to destroy the airships. Didn’t really use the warhammer titan’s power at its best

Anyone else notice how Eren screaming at the end resembled an air raid siren? I thought that was a really subtle, but awesome touch

最後のエレンの叫び声が、空襲のサイレンに似ていることに気づいた人はいるだろうか。あれが絶妙に、でもすごい演出だと思ったんだけど。

I love that even tho Piecks Titan is probably the weakest of the bunch, the fact she’s a absolute genius tactician outweighs it by a lot. She is always usually two steps ahead when it comes to planning and has contingencies for everything. She’s basically the Batman of this universe. Give her some prep time and she can take down most enemies

車力の巨人が一番弱いはずなのに、それを上回る絶対的な天才的戦術家であるところが好き。彼女は常に2歩先を読んで計画を立てて、あらゆる事態を想定しているんだよね。進撃の巨人でのバットマンのような存在。彼女に時間を与えれば、ほとんどの敵を倒すことができる。

That scene when Eren was going straight towards the flying soldiers was my favourite

I forget but can someone remind me which city and wall this fight is taking place in? Obviously it’s in Paradis, but the lack of civilians was slightly odd to me. The city felt a bit empty, and the only people moving around were soldiers. Is this an area between Maria and Rose that hasn’t been repopulated yet, like Shiganshina? If it is Shiganshina then that really sucks for Eren. The guy can’t stop having his home town destroyed over and over again lol.

忘れてしまったんだけど、この戦いがどの街、どの壁で行われているのか思い出させてくれないか？パラディ島であるのは明らかだけど、民間人がいないのが少し不思議。街は少し空っぽに感じられ、動き回っているのは兵士だけ。ウォールマリアとウォールローゼの間にある、シガンシナ区のようにまだ人が住んでいない地域なのかな？もしシガンシナだとしたら、エレンにとっては本当に最悪だよな。自分の故郷を何度も何度も破壊されるのをやめられないんだからさw

ジークの骨髄液で、人々は避難してるよ。

Insane to think that every episode going forward will have this level of intensity and hype….MAPPA did a great job here. Almost makes me wish I didn’t end up reading the manga. Ah well.

この先、毎話このレベルのテンションで進めるとなると、正気の沙汰とは思えんな。MAPPAは素晴らしい仕事をしたよなぁ。

Why is everyone against Eren and Zeke? They seem to have the best plan for the future, compared to the other factions.

なんでみんなエレンとジークを敵視してるんだ？他の奴らに比べれば、一番いい計画を立てているように見えるのだけどさ。

This right here is why conflicts exist. Some do things for the good of the world, some do things for the good of their own people. Neither thinks they are wrong and they won’t back down for the other. And AOT portrays this perfectly.

だから紛争が起こるんだ。ある者は世界のために、ある者は自国民のために行動する。どちらも自分が悪いとは思っていないし、相手のために引き下がろうともしない。「進撃の巨人」はそれを見事に描いている。

The opening perfectly suits this season

オープニング（SiM「The Rumbling」）がやばいぐらいに完璧にマッチしている件

I love it when a new season starts and you know the first episodes are gonna have that polished look to them, with detailed designs and smooth character animation sprinkled here and there. The scene with the warriors, from Gabi reuniting with them up to Magath boarding the Cart Titan, is a great example of that. As expected of Hayashi, direction was stunning, and I think the OSTs were spot on, despite being mostly familiar ones. Also, every new OP and ED this anime gets become my favourites, I swear. They always outdo the previous ones. SnK sundays are back y’all!

新しいシーズンの最初のエピソードは洗練されてて、細かいデザインや滑らかなキャラクターアニメーションがあちこちに散りばめられていて、とても良いよね。ガビが仲間の戦士たちと再会して、マガトが車力の巨人に乗り込むまでのシーンは、その例だ。さすが林祐一郎（演出家）さん、演出も見事だったし、OSTもおなじみのものが中心だったけど、的確なものだったと思う。「進撃の巨人」はOPとEDが新しくなるたびに、私のお気に入りになっているね、本当に。いつも前作を凌駕してくる。「進撃の巨人」の日曜日が戻ってきましたよ〜

When I saw Zeke emerging from the Titan naked I was like – damn, that’s gonna blow up the internet

巨人から裸で出てきたジークを見たとき、「くそっ、これはバズる」と確信した。

oh my god, this ep was amazing Crazy how employees at MAPPA were still able to put together something this good under a rough schedule

このエピソードは素晴らしかった。 MAPPAの社員は、厳しいスケジュールの中で、これだけのものを作り上げることができたのだから、頭が下がる思いだ。

I’ve read the manga but from where those goosebumps were coming from 🙂
